How to Start Your Own Chapter

As a non-profit, the Economics Awareness Program requires branches or chapters around the community. Chapters can be opened by anyone from any organization such as your own school.

Bringing Economics Awareness Program to your school

If you’re interested in bringing Economics Awareness to your school, explore the criteria to determine if your school is eligible to start a chapter. If your request is approved, our new advisor liaison will be with you every step of the way to help make your Economics Awareness chapter a rewarding educational experience for you and your members.

Step 1

All Economics Awareness Program chapters must be part of a middle school or high school, must have a chapter advisor recognized by the school, and must have a minimum chapter size of seven (7) student members and one (1) advisor.

If your chapter meets the basic requirements set forth in step one, your chapter must also meet all the respective requirements set forth by your association for starting a club.

After completing the necessary chapter requirements put in place by Economics Awareness Program and your school/association, receive approval from your school’s principal.

Request approval from Economics Awareness Program by filling out the below form.

Step 5

The Economics Awareness Program will promptly email you and officially certify you as a chapter. Additionally, you will receive ‘Getting Started’ details and be added to The Economics Awareness Program email chain/community

Before starting, please make sure you meet the requirements before filling out the form. If you do not meet the requirements and eligibility criteria, please fill out this form later when you meet the requirements and are eligible to create an Economic Awareness chapter at your school!
