You might be asking a big question: why donate? At Economics Awareness, we know donation can feel like a big step. During these hard financial times, with inflation up and struggles to make ends meet, we understand that some of you can't donate. But for those who can, please pitch in and help. Economics Awareness is a (501) (c) (3) Certified non-profit that aims to help students increase their financial literacy and economics knowledge.

Through our webinars and curriculum, we've increased finance/economics knowledge to many students through the Charlotte region. Recently, we've decided to take a step up by being a (501)(c)(3) certifed non-profit. We've created a new Chapter Initiative, to help increase knowledge about economics/finance in schools. However, there is so much more to be done and so much more impact we need to provide to ensure all students, not just in Charlotte where we're starting, but beyond thrive and become financially literate. This is just a beginning in our mission!

Financial literate is the basics to survival in the adult world. Students need to know what insurance is, how to budget successfully, etc. Studies have shown that globally, 62% are financially illiterate - which includes the US. These statistics alone, speaks facts, and it is not the only one that says so.

 

So- think about it- what should you do? There are many ways to try to solve the problem, but one small step is donating to Economics Awareness (even 1 cent counts) to help ensure all students get the financial education they need to not only survive but thrive when it comes to finance and economics. We appreciate your help and would love for you to help!
