It has been a while since our program has done a blog update! We thank everyone who is interested in our program. We thank you for your support! We have been quite busy putting the finishing touches on the curriculum program, adding more information to the website, and so much more! This blog post will update readers on our June and July progress.
We wrote a few blog posts in June about Economic Awareness. We wrote about the blog, curriculum, and webinars. We created a foundation by making a website. This included adding a menu, homepage, and other helpful pages like “Stay in Touch” and “Curriculum.”
Since June 29th, our previous blog post, we have added a lot to our curriculum. We created many pages for our curriculum, filled with great information and interactive videos that will help engage all of our students. We have many modules, including a Tax module, an Introduction to Economy module, and a Financial Technology module. In addition, we are finishing the quiz part of the module, filled with hints and 15 questions per quiz to test students’ knowledge on the information! (There may be more questions added depending on module length.) We are still working on our additional reading and final test sections which should be completed soon.
In addition, we have also worked a lot on our website. We’ve changed the theme from green to more colors. More pages and pictures have been added. We have also started to create Wix forms that will collect emails to receive information from Economics Awareness. This includes our email newsletter updates. We are super thankful that we are also getting participants who are interested/signed up to join the curriculum part of our program. We have also started our “Create a Chapter” initiative. We would like to create chapters to further our impact on the community. Chapters are intended for middle and high schoolers who would like to spread economic and financial awareness to their school. There are details about this on the Economics Awareness website.
We are also so glad that our website has been officially published online and we have upgraded to a premium plan that allows us to have more features compared to the free plan. We also plan on adding more impact to our community through consultations that will be coming soon!
Most important, however, besides all the updates, is our gratitude. Again, we would like to thank you all so much! We are so grateful for each and every one of you. Everyone who reads the blogs, signs up for webinars, and enrolls in our curriculum program. We hope that our work at Economics Awareness brings economic and financial awareness to our community. Financial/economic awareness is so important to our community, and we hope we can help with it! More updates will be coming soon and we appreciate your support!
